Elizabeth North Stage 1


The first phase of the Elizabeth North project, due for completion in 2021, will be

the site of the new Royal Melbourne Hospital Parkville campus, covering approximately

10,000 square metres over six floors.

With world-class facilities and a prime location, the Elizabeth Street branch of the

Royal Melbourne Hospital will expand Melbourne's renowned biomedical precinct

with corporate services and specialist clinics, including multiple sclerosis and

immunology, dialysis and neuropsychiatry.

Behind the beautifully restored façade, the plinth and basement level houses a

large flagship centre for the City of Melbourne's Toyota dealership, in addition to a

variety of retail outlets including Woolworths Metro, BWS and Lobby Café.

SIP Properties, together with Gray Puksand, WSP, Red Fire, Inhabit, Lovell Chen,

Meinhardt Bonacci and Philip Chun, worked on this 30,000 square metre mixed-use

project under the constraints of COVID-19. Within the context of COVID-19, the

project was completed primarily with minimal delays.

The first phase is part of a 70,000 square metre development in Elizabeth North

that uses best practice architecture, design and urban planning to provide innovative

facilities for world-class businesses.
