WEPROPERTY is currently in the planning and design stages of an exciting new project

in West Melbourne. The Roden & King development will be a mix of commercial space

and flats.

Architects DKO came up with the idea of creating a group of buildings surrounding a

central green space where new and existing residents can interact.

The Stanley Street building is the gateway to the project and comprises a lobby,

utilities and concierge services. The Roden Street building consists of a sloping

structure and a recessed top floor, echoing the subtle textures of the Victorian terrace.

The King Street flats, on the other hand, form a distinctive zigzag façade with balconies

facing spectacular views of the CBD.

The interiors of the flats are designed to reflect city-centre living and flexibility.

There is a spacious co-working space on the ground floor of Stanley Street,

where residents can collaborate or work in a quiet meeting pod.

Roden & King provides residents with excellent access to sustainable transport,

including spacious cycle storage, end-of-line facilities, electric vehicle chargers and

on-site car sharing facilities.
